A couple of weeks ago I was in a motel room in Roma, Western Queensland. I received a text and then an email from head office informing me of a web chat prospect that I should contact.
I called Lisa from Snowdonia Airconditioning and she was pleasantly surprised at the speed of our response to her inquiry. She had been on our website only minutes before my call and we set a time to meet the next morning in North Lakes, some 8 hours drive from where I currently was.
We met the next morning at about 11 and we discussed debt collection, the PPSR, terms of trade, privacy legislation and Veda credit reporting. The client immediately understood the implications of not applying a credit management system to her business and we set about drafting their documentation.
This whole exercise from the initial contact to the completion of the sale was 27 hours. The professionalism shown with the web chat service is incredible. We can’t always be as attentive but speed of contact and open communication will always show competence.
